We enable residents to enjoy the pleasures of country life, surrounded by a warm and supportive community, with quality care close at hand. Retirement Living is an investment that supports the Kalyra s benevolent activities. The inclusion of Retirement Living and Aged Care at the same location has benefitted many of our residents with the ability for loved ones to move into higher dependency care. Partners can reside in close proximity, whilst maintaining independence. Kalyra s Help at Home services aims to maintain independence and quality of life while living at home. Underpinning our Help at Home program is the dedication and compassion of our team. They develop caring partnerships to ensure the highest level of support is provided. Our services include domestic assistance, meal preparation, making your home safe, medical, shopping, nursing and medication, personal care, allied health, social support, gardening and home maintenance and respite. Our help at home services provide benevolent relief to all clients, all of whom are aged, with 73% of home care package clients being classified by Government as supported. Kalyra manages 79 homes under our Affordable Housing program, which supports vulnerable people on a disability or aged pension who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness. These homes demonstrate another aspect of Kalyra s benevolent activities. Affordable Housing aligns strongly with our purpose. All tenants are recipients of Kalyra s benevolent relief, with rents averaging approximately 50% of market rents. This directly impacts tenants by providing stable housing.
