We provided generalist welfare services, Information and referrals, counseling and case management, Information and Referrals, Emergency Relief case coordination, material aid inc. electricity vouchers (EAPA), Soup Kitchen, Food Recovery project (food rescued and distributed to people in need), other material aid (blankets, towels, bedding, swags, toiletries, nappies, sanitary products, meal packs, showers etc.), volunteer placements and support, Services Australia/Centrelink Agency, Brighter Futures Family Preservation program, Nimbin Integrated Services program (dual diagnoses clients, triaged clinical model), colocated and Outreach services, Disaster response, recovery and resilience. Auspicing Nimbin Community Drug Action team (AOD Harm reduction) and Nimbin Death and Beyond Group (Grief and Loss support group, community support for palliative care options). Towards a Sustainable Nimbin community development projects pursuant to the Sustainable Nimbin Community Plan: Nimbin Food Security Project, Nimbin Community Mobile Grain Mill, Nimbin Tools and Equipment Library, and 7 Sibley St Nimbin s Sustainable Living Hub. Skills share and social connection workshops. Public access to technologies PCs, Internet, fax, copier, telephones, assistance with forms, general dropin service, community events, fundraising and social inclusion events. Almost 32,000 occasions of service in the 2122 year. The community was heavily impacted by the March 2022 floods. Demand for services increased fivefold following the disaster. Funds were donated to us for distribution back to flood impacted community members, all of which was distributed by the 30 June 2022. Over 7,600kgs of food distributed, plus 3,081 cooked meals provided. 88.6% of clients reported an overall positive outcome in relation to their circumstances, 97.7% reported an overall positive outcome in relation to their goals. 98% of workshop participants reported increased confidence.
